Strata reports show the financials of the body corporate along with management matters and past documented building issues. A strata inspection will also report on major works that may have been planned for the future or special levies that have been proposed on the owners.

A Strata Report will contain copies of relevant documentation that is made available by the body corporate or strata manager. Each Strata Report will have a summary of the information gathered during the strata inspection, along with copies of the relevant supporting documentation.
It is highly recommended that a building inspection and pest inspection be carried out along with the Strata inspection, as defects may exist to the building that aren’t known and documented by the body corporate or the strata manager. The strata inspector does not go to the building as the records are generally kept off-site.
